For our first DvD review we will review Lord of the rings
Lord of the rings is a well-known book trilogy; it was then made into 3 films. The fellowship of the ring (the first book) was released in Christmas 2001. It was a hit and won many awards. The DVD has been released at the end of august.

Story
It is about a hobbit taking an evil ring forged by lord Sauron, and journeying to destroy the ring. A hobbit in a halfling and has hairy feet. The book was immensely detailed and the film was very close, apart from some parts, like tom Bombadil. J.R.Tolkien wrote the books.

Special features
The DVDs special features include interviews, trailers, documentary’s, T.V. spots, DVD ROM extras and loads more, all put on 2 DVDs.

Rating
My impressions on the movie would be 9.8/10 as a 3 hour movie that is breathtaking gets close to 10/10, but nothings perfect. The special features I would award 8/10.
